Good evening readers,
After an exhausting few days working with a security firm and my web hosting provider and scouring the web for how to fix my website and log in again after a particularly vicious and nasty hacker decided to go on a lark and hack who knows how many websites, and mine was unfortunately included in them, I am happy to report that Darkeva’s is up and running and back in business! It’s been a busy weekend, as per usual, but rest assured that book reviews will be going up again soon, and I’ve taken as many measures as I can to protect from further hacks.

This experience has taught me many things, most importantly that I’m very glad I started doing regular backups of this website starting sometime last year (although at least that time, the error was from my end and self-generated). Of course I’m very relieved that all my data and posts and comments and everything else is intact, and I look forward to posting more often in the coming weeks.
