@Will E. - I agree, the short fiction had more of an impact for me as well.
@ Glent12 - glad you liked Teeth :-)

I remember reading Brite's stories in the very early '90s and eagerly awaiting LOST SOULS. While I wasn't blown away by the novel, her short story collection SWAMP FOETUS was pretty cool. A year or so ago I reread it for the first time in nearly 20 years and was happy to find it just as cool. She was truly an original voice in horror fiction of that era.

Even though that "Ellen Datlow" left an image in copying the ideas of others, She still make a twist to made it beautiful ones than others do.. I really love the Teeth: Vampire Tales (HarperCollins, April 2011; co-edited with Terri Windling).

Hiya Midnyte, you really should if you haven't already! If you like Ellen Datlow's anthologies, Nancy's are fantastic too, and of course if you're a fan of Anne Rice/Poppy Z. Brite, that kind of thing, Nancy's vampire novels are wonderful.

Thanks!

Thanks, Marcie! I've been dying to find a copy since I saw it air on TV and even asked the filmmakers but didn't get a response; if you're in Canada, the Space Channel airs it from time to time, and I'm sure some American networks must, as well, so I would say that's your best bet. There's not even any great clips of it on YouTube, which sucks--someone needs to tell the filmmakers that we want this DVD! lol

Thanks for stopping by!
